Monthly meeting

Stop by the South Boston Artist Association’s monthly meeting featuring local artist and resident, William Frew.  Frew, an Air Force pilot and commercial airline pilot, began painting in his retirement focusing on local scenes.   He will discuss his paintings and read from his memoir, a work in progress.  .This free event takes place on Saturday, September 21st at 9:30 at the Curley Recreation Center (M Street side). 

The scoop on Bill Frew:
Bill, who grew up in South Boston, attended Gate of Heaven School, Mount St. Charles Academy High School, and Boston University, chose a career which carried him to most parts of the globe.  A talented painter who has exhibited locally as well as with the Quincy Art Association, and recently was featured at an exhibit at the Medicine Wheel, which earned him high praise, Bill has been writing his memoir and meeting regularly with the SBAA’s writing group.

Refreshments will be served.
