Lace up your sneakers for a fun 5K Road Race! The Perkins Post 5K will start and end at Medal of Honor Park and around Castle Island. This race is dedicated to the men and women who have served and are currently serving in the Armed Forces. The route takes you by many of the South Boston veteran memorials including the Vietnam War, Korean War and World War II in addition to Fort Independence at Castle Island.
This race takes place on Saturday, September 21st at 9am. $30

Course
Starting at M Street/Medal of Honor Park, proceeding east on East Broadway. At the Farragut Statue, the race travels clockwise around Pleasure Bay on the sidewalk, returning to the Farragut Statue via the causeway, before circling the hockey rink counterclockwise before continuing west on East Broadway to the starting point at M Street/Medal of Honor Park.
