New Indoor Golf Experience Opening in the Neighborhood

Looks like Southie is getting a new indoor golf spot! Five Iron Golf is hoping to open in Fort Point on Summer Street. According to our friends at Boston Restaurant Talk, a notice on the City of Boston licensing board hearing page stated that the proposed spot would have six golf simulators on the lower level with seating areas, a bar, a kitchen, and two duckpin bowling lanes. There will also be a room on the first floor with seven additional golf simulators, seating areas, and a bar, plus a seasonal outdoor patio.
Five Iron Golf is a chain with 25 locations in cities nationwide and one location in the Government Center.
The proposed address for the new golf experience is 311 Summer Street.
