New Free Art Exhibition Celebrating New England’s Working Waterfront Comes to the Neighborhood

A new free art exhibition is coming to Fort Point next week! Working Coast – Below the Line will take over the Fort Point Arts Community Art Space at The Envoy Hotel from August 26–30.
Presented by Contemporary Climate Gallery, the five-day exhibition celebrates New England’s working waterfront through paintings, sculptures, photography, and mixed media from three emerging Boston-area artists. Visitors can expect everything from hand-built lobster trap sculptures and buoy-inspired installations to large-scale paintings inspired by New England’s harbors, coastal communities, and connection to the sea.
The Fort Point location is a perfect fit, given the neighborhood’s deep ties to both Boston’s waterfront and its creative community.
Gallery Hours:
- Wednesday, August 26: 12–6 p.m.
- Thursday, August 27: 12–6 p.m.
- Friday, August 28: 12–5 p.m.
- Saturday, August 29: 12–6 p.m.
- Sunday, August 30: 12–4 p.m.
Admission is free, and visitors will also have opportunities to meet the featured artists throughout the exhibition.
