Neatly Nested will close the doors to its brick and mortar shop this week

After almost ten years in business in the neighborhood, Neatly Nested, the wildly popular home decor shop on West Broadway will close the doors to its brick-and-mortar shop.ย  (The online shop will still be available for all your shopping needs.)

Featuring a beautiful selection of home accessories, gift ideas and more, Neatly Nested won the Best of Boston Award in 2021 for Best Home Decor Shop by Boston Magazine.

After much consideration, owner Danielle McClure decided to close up shop.ย  Back in October, McClure posted the following message on Instagram:

It feels surreal to be writing this, but after much consideration and internal debate, I have decided it is time for me to sell Neatly Nested. This was not an easy decision, as this sweet little shop has become such an integral part of my identity and has brought me so much over the past 9.5 years. It is a community, a happy retreat in the middle of the city, and a place I will forever hold in my heart. I founded Neatly Nested in 2013 refurbishing furniture and offering interior design services and a small selection of home accents and gifts.

Over the years, the business has become a community staple in our beloved Southie for the best and most unique home dรฉcor and gifts.

In my search for the next owner, I thought I would reach out to our clients who have made the business a success first. A buyer with a creative vision and love for these items would find this to be a fun and very profitable business to run.

The shop will be open until Friday.ย  There are still deals to be had, so stop by before the shop is completely empty.ย  Champagne is available from 4pm-6pm on Friday to toast this small business!

A new business will be taking over the space located at E and Broadway.ย  We hear it’s going to be a shop for a psychic. That’s something new for Southie! More to follow.

This is very sad to see a grass roots shop that became part of our community closing its doors . I think this shop gave us all a feeling of the old west Broadway or as we use to call it Big Broadway ๐Ÿ™ .

So sad .i use to stage home and do home decorating parties . They recently started selling items online and did away with home parties . Maybe thatโ€™s something you can do in Southie . Offer home parties .

would have LOVED to have had this shop in my neighborhood . I am moving to Southie in a few weeks . Born and raised in suburbs of Boston , it pains me to see these great little shops closing .

Message me if local home parties is something we could maybe do together.
