Bring it on!

Let’s see how creative Southie can get when it comes to gingerbread, frosting and some candy.  The South Boston Artists Association is hosting its first ever Gingerbread House Contest.  As part of the South Boston Holiday Stroll (https://caughtinsouthie.com/get-holiday-spirit), the contest will take place from 6pm-7:45pm at the South Boston Public Library.  Local judges include Former Mayor Ray Flynn, Glen from Sweet Tooth Bakery and the Wonder Twins.  There will be be two categories – individual (ages 10 and under) with cash prizes of $100, $50 and $25 and business/non-profit category.  Cost to enter is one unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots.

As part of the this celebration, SBAA is also organizing a toy drive for Toys for Tots.  Kindly drop off an unwrapped toy from 4pm-6pm.

Stop by and judge for yourself who will win the battle of the gingerbread houses.
