If you saw horse drawn carriages and bustled and corseted women on East First Street over the weekend, you weren’t hallucinating. The ABC pilot “Gilded Lillys” – a period drama centered around a luxury hotel in New York in 1895 – were shooting scenes down near the Boston Athletic Club on Friday. Shonda Rhimes creator of Grey’s Anatomy is producing Gilded Lillys and will star Blythe Danner, Sarah Bolger, and John Barrowman.
Other filming locations in Massachusetts include : Union Station in Worcester, the Crane’s Estate in Ipswich and the Wang Center.
