Are you watching the Pats on Sunday?  Well, how about watching the Pats with little background music.  On Sunday, Nov 3, The Capiz Lounge at the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel  (606 Congress St @ D St) will host an Adam Payne concert from 6-8pm while the Patriots take on the Steelers.   It will be the perfect fusion of funk and football.

The scoop on Adam Payne
Acoustic singer-songwriter Adam Payne  has shared the stage with the likes of Ghost Face Killa and Ben Harper.

How would you describe your music?  In the format for this Sunday, my music will consist of covers, originals and on-the-fly songs in a one-man band setup (guitar, bass, beatboxing, loops, etc.).  Stylistically, the music will be an eclectic mix of Acoustic, Rock, Hip Hop, and Folk.  My family would describe my music as  “Whatevah…he plays whatevah!

How long have you been playing/performing/writing songs?  I have been playing music for over 20 years, writing for 15 and performing for about 12.

Why should the people of Southie come out to see you on Sunday?  People of Southie should come out on Sunday not just to see me play, but to also check out the amazing digs at the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel.  The Capiz Lounge is truly one of my favorite places to play; great ambiance, amazing staff, and everything is delicious!  It will be a very cool event, and a great way to cap off the weekend!  Hope to see you!

Mix it up this Sunday!
