Do some good
Today is the perfect day to be outdoors, drink some beer, and listen to some music, While your are having some fun, you’ll be raising money for a good cause. Fun for Good takes place today, Sunday, June 2nd at the Moakley Courthouse on the waterfront – Fan Pier to be exact – from 3pm-8pm.
Fun for Good helps raise funds for the Boston-based non-profit the World Ocean School provides educational programs to children from all different economic and social backgrounds, aboard its schooner, Roseway. The Roseway will be part of the festivities today and there for your viewing pleasure.
Grab a spot on the lawn, have some wine or enjoy some beer from seven local brewers including Harpoon, Sam Adams, Cape Ann Brewing Company, Mayflower High & Mighty, Rising Tide, and Naukabout. Relax in the sun and listen to the music featuring the following bands:
- The Pimps of Joytime
- Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds
- Toy Soldiers
- Will Dailey and the Rivals
