From wine + gelato to bocce and hot dogs, there are fun things to explore in Boston’s Seaport
We realize the weather hasn’t been cooperating but summer is officially here and there’s lots to see and do in the Seaport neighborhood, including shopping, eating/drinking, workouts, exploring, and more! Here are some standouts that we’re gonna check out this summer!
Wine, Snacks + Gelato
Alileo, a Boston-based Sicilian boxed natural wine brand, and Boston Seaport by WS Development announced the launch of “alileo vino e snak bar,” a pop-up wine and snack experience that will bring Sicily to the Seaport this summer. The “alileo vino e snak bar” will feature all of Alileo’s wine varietals, which are made on the West coast of Sicily, and gelato from Nancy’s Fancy, a small batch gelato and sorbetto brand made by two-time James Beard Award-winning chef Nancy Silverton. The space will be furnished by Boston-based furniture brand AllModern. The entire experience will transport guests to a piazza in Palermo. Get the full details here.
Bounce, Toss + Roll
Project Paulie’s Bocce Club is now open for the summer! Nestled next to The Current, The Project Paulie Bocce Club features three outdoor bocce lanes and a clubhouse filled with exclusive Project Paulie Bocce Club merchandise – including their signature tomato hat – available only in-person at the Clubhouse. A portion of the proceeds from bocce lane reservations will be donated to Project Bread, supporting their fight against hunger and initiatives to make healthy food accessible to people of all ages. From Friday to Sunday, players can indulge in delicious specialty hot dogs, plain hot dogs, and veggie dogs, from local, Latina-owned Buenas. The menu will also feature emPAWnadas, empanadas for dogs, as well as soft drinks and other one-off collaborations. Packages for private events or special events are also available.
