Twelve Chairs, a home furnishings shop and interior design studio located in Southie’s  Fort Point neighborhood, is hosting an Eat Boutique Local Market on Saturday, September 24th from 1pm-5pm.  If you love to eat and cook, this is the perfect event for you.  Come meet local handmade purveyors and cookbook authors, taste their delicious sweet and savory treats, and shop for gifts for your friends and family and better yet, yourself!    It will be set up “farmer’s market” style which will allow you to browse, taste, shop and meet some new friends.

  • Lark Fine Foods: They make “cookies for grownups”
  • E.H. Chocolatier: A gourmet chocolate confectionery
  • Fat Toad Farm: A family run goat dairy making goat milk caramel sauces
  • Didi Davis Artisan Food: Creating inventive and unique condiments
  • The Wine Bottega: A boutique wine seller in Boston’s North End
  • Chococoa Baking: Making gourmet whoopie pies
  • The Stand: A Cambridge lady makes drink syrups and preserves
  • Q’s Nuts: An amazing local duo making all-natural roasted nuts
  • Yummy Mummy: Fudgy brownies baked to order
  • The Cupcakory: Boston’s original cupcake truck

Meet the authors:

  • Poor Girl Gourmet:Food blogger and cookbook author of Poor Girl Gourmet: Eat in Style on a Bare Bones Budget will be there sharing some sample items from her cookbook
  • Joanne Chang: Owner of Flour Bakery and author of Flour: Spectacular Recipes from Boston’s Flour Bakery + Cafe will be signing her book from 1-1:45pm
  • Amy Traverso: Senior Lifestyle Editor at Yankee magazine and author of the just released The Apple Lover’s Cookbook  will be signing her book from 2-3pm
