Trying to stay fit and healthy during a pandemic can be a challenge. But studies have proven aerobic exercise can lower levels of depression and anxiety – think running, riding a stationary bike, dancing, even old school aerobics! Not only will it keep you in shape, it will raise your spirts and change your mood too!  So lace up those sneakers and get moving – especially during this coronavirus time! We’ve rounded up some of our favorite workouts for you to try. Check out our video from NECN here!

A socially distanced 45 minute strength workout brought to you by SweatFixx on Saturday morning at 8:30am. Bring your own mat & weights as you work through 5 different challenge blocks. Digital Classes

Start off your week right with a Monday Morning Meditation and Yoga Flow.  Join Kait and Maggie for an Instagram Live 10 minute meditation and 15 minute flow every Monday at 8:30am. This Monday morning class was designed to set your mind and body into the week in a positive way.

Samba Viva is offering on demand classes on Vimeo. Just $10 per class and you can dance in the privacy of your own home and dance like no one is watching

Home Gym

Roll out a yoga mat and stretch.  Grab a jump rope and get moving.  Throwback workout equipment like the Thighmaster will still do the trick.  We love a weighted hula hoop for a home workout! (Marissa Tomei used a hula hoop to get in shape for the movie The Wrestler.)  Perfect for using while watching the Real Housewives or rewatching The Sopranos.
