We’re sure you’ve heard by now, “Black Mass” the movie about notorious Southie mobster James “Whitey” Bulger starring Johnny Depp, begins filming in May.  CP Casting is holding a casting call this weekend at the Teacher’s Union Hall/Carson Place (180 Mount Vernon Street) on Saturday, April 12th and Sunday, April 13th  from 1:00pm to 6pm.

Looking for background extras and speaking roles May 19 thru August 1st.  In search of men, women, and children of all ethnicities and types. Also in need of Italian wise guys, Irish tough guys, politicians – What? no mob molls? – Southie on St. Patrick’s Day, people with cars from the 70’s and 80’s – think white Lincoln Town Car.  Wonder if they are in need of a 1980’s “Southie Savings” mug? Because we have one!

So if you think you’ve got what it takes to represent Southie during Whitey’s heyday, head to the Teacher’s Union this weekend.
