Boston Seaport Kicks Off Market Season with the Return of the Seaport Summer Market series on May 10 and Seaport x Black Owned Bos. Market series on May 18

Boston, MA – April 29, 2025  – Bringing shopping outdoors for the summer season, Boston Seaport by WS announces the return of two open-air shopping destinations. Seaport Summer Market kicks off its fourth season on May 10, celebrating local entrepreneurship, craftsmanship and art with a rotating collection of over 100 vendors throughout the season. Seaport x Black Owned Bos. Market returns for its sixth season on May 18 and will once again showcase an exciting mix of 60+ unique businesses each month, owned by a celebrated community of Black creators and makers. This year’s Seaport x Black Owned Bos. moves to a Harbor Way with even more space to shop, dine, and enjoy various activities. Both markets are free, open to the public, and dog-friendly. Taking place over thirteen weekends, Seaport Summer Market will showcase over 80 vendors each weekend from a rotating collection of over 100 businesses. It will also feature an outdoor food and beverage area, a live DJ spinning summer favorites, and special family-friendly programming, including an instrument petting zoo from Fort Point Artists Community (FPAC)from 1pm to 3pm on Sundays, a bubble machine, and lawn games.Seaport has once again partnered with The Makers Show to curate an exciting lineup of vendors for this season’s markets. The 2025 roster features a diverse group, with a strong focus on local, women-owned, and minority-owned businesses. Shoppers can expect a dynamic blend of returning favorites and fresh new artisans, offering everything from clothing, jewelry, and skincare to home décor, pet goods, original artwork, packaged treats, and much more.

Highlights include:

A delicious line-up of dining options rounds out the experience. The outdoor dining area will include artisanal ice cream from Matki Artisanal Kulfi Ice Cream, empanadas by BocadillosNorth East of the Border’s authentic Mexican food, Caribbean dishes from ZaZ Food Truck, and hummus bowls from The Hummus Shop, and a new Seaport Sips bar featuring beers from Jack’s Abby and Nightshift Brewing, wines from Pernod Ricard, summer-inspired specialty drinks like a red sangria and summer spritz, and a menu of mocktails with mixers from Simple Sips.

Now in its sixth season, the Seaport x Black Owned Bos. Market returns in 2025 with its signature mix of eclectic vendors and creative community support for local businesses. This year celebrates local entrepreneurship and artistry with over 60+ Black-owned businesses, highlighting a dynamic range of talent and creativity. Enhancing the 2025 shopping experience, the outdoor market will expand its footprint and move to Harbor Way. Guests may also sip, shop and stroll with beverages and food from rotating vendors, enjoy giveaways and more. Also returning this season is The Tot Spot by The Little Cocoa Bean Co., a fun-filled area for kids to enjoy toys and games.

Happening every 3rd Sunday from May through October, the Seaport x Black Owned Bos. Market will showcase a new theme each month:
