A special exhibit is on display again for the month of April at the Shapiro Courtyard at the Museum of Fine Arts.  To Boston With Love features more than 1,700 flags that were created in nearly every US state and every corner of the world, conveying symbols of love and peace for all the people of Boston.

The project was a grass-roots effort conceived by Berene Campbell of Vancouver, Canada, and organized locally by Amy Friend of West Newbury, in honor of those affected by Boston Marathon tragedy.

On Saturday, April 19th a community day will take place and welcome families from Boston and beyond and commemorate the one-year anniversary of the Boston Marathon tragedy.  Admission will be free that day and visitors can sign and decorate a special panel for the America 4 Boston Prayer Canvas—a national art project offering a way for people to rally together after the Boston Marathon events of 2013—that will be unveiled at the Boston Red Sox game on Sunday, April 20.
