Bonjour Québec, the world-class destination known for Francophone culture and warm hospitality, will showcase a preview of the most wonderful time of year during a Winter Wonderland event, celebrating Carnaval de Québec’s 70th anniversary and Montréal en Lumière, celebrating its 25th anniversary, featuring entertainment, culture, gastronomy, and more.
Pop-up activation at Boston’s Seaport District, open to the public, featuring classic winter carnival activities and experiences, showcasing Québec as the premiere winter travel destination.
Visitors can experience elements of Québec’s winter carnivals firsthand, including live ice sculpting, a DJ performing with an ice bar as its backdrop, snowball corn hole, classic Québec “maple candy on snow” and an appearance by Quebec’s famous Bonhomme, the Carnival de Québec’s official mascot (Bonhomme loosely translates to snowman in French). Visitors can also participate in the ultimate Instagram photo opportunity alongside Bonhomme.
Québec Winter Carnival, the world’s biggest and best-known winter carnival headlined by Bonhomme, that provides a warm and festival feel to Québec city, including the reveal of Bonhomme’s Ice Palace, parades, ice slides, and other classic Carnival activities like:
- Sucrerie de la Montagne, authentic, year-round traditional Québec sugar shack
- Montréal en Lumière, one of the largest festivals in the world, Montréal en Lumière welcomes half a million festival goers experiencing the joy of the city’s winter through a unique program combining, free outdoor family activities with two magnificent skating rings, performing arts, gastronomy, and more
- Igloofest, an annual, winter outdoor festival that brings together thousands of music lovers to dance under the stars at Monréal’s Old Port
