Learn how to stir up classic cocktails from the 1950’s with style! Beginning Tuesday, January 17, Local 149 is offering Mixology 101 – a 1 hour course on how to make and serve craft cocktails at home. Bar manager Chris Olds and bartender John Mayer will mix history and practical knowledge to give participants a chance to practice with tools and techniques. The cost is $40 per person and includes tastes of chef Leah Dubois’ bar bites to complement the cocktails.
Each class will highlight three cocktails and teach you how to make them on their own, plus offer tips on how to set up a versatile bar at home. Just think how impressed your friends will be when you bust out the cocktail shaker and shake ’em up a swell Old Fashioned.
