Southie resident and life of the party, Andrew Kelly-Hayes gives the reality game show a shot this summer.  TNT’s 72 Hours drops competing teams of strangers into the wilderness, leaving them with only a single bottle of water and a GPS tracking device as their guide. Teams have just three days to “form strategic bonds, hike across treacherous terrain, battle the elements and make difficult survival choices, all in a quest to be the first to find a hidden briefcase full of $100,000 cash.” Andrew’s episode is already in the can and will air on Friday, July 12th at 10pm on TNT.

To celebrate, Andrew is hosting a viewing party at, where else, Lincoln Tavern and Restaurant (425 West Broadway) during the airing.  Stop by and see how it turns out.  If he’s buying the rounds, it might be a safe bet that he was victorious.
