Working out is never a walk in the park. But when the weather’s warm, getting your sweat on outdoors makes it a tiny bit easier.  Add an ocean view? And you may even see a smile on our faces. Here are our picks for can’t-miss fitness events this summer!

Beach Yoga

Join East Side Yoga & Fitness down at the beach every Sunday at 10:30am all summer long! Flow, stretch, and Namaste your way through an hour-long class held at Southie’s own Carson Beach. Bring $10, water, and your mat.

Seaport Sweat

These popular & FREE (!) classes are back and better than ever, with even more ways you can perfect your beach bod all summer long. Classes are held from June through September on the Seaport Common at 85 Northern Avenue.  Write these down:

  • Monday: Box and Body at 6 p.m., plus Kick It by Eliza at 7 p.m.
  • Tuesday: HIIT at 5:30 p.m., plus Boxing Conditioning at 6:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday: Yoga at 6 p.m., plus Kick It by Eliza at 7 p.m.
  • Thursday: Kick It by Eliza at 5:30 p.m., plus HIIT at 6:30 p.m.
  • Friday: Yoga with Jenna at 12 p.m.

Be W.E.L.L

Swings aside, the Lawn on D is a must-attend this summer. W.E.L.L. Summit will be sponsoring fun & relaxed fitness classes, like barre and yoga this Sunday, June 25th. Classes are taught by some of your favorite instructors and the fun starts at 8am. On July 8th, Rev’d cycle studio will be bringing in the bikes for a revved up spin class right on the lawn. Yoga & Mimosas

Is there anything better? Yoga Around Town has teamed up with one of our favorite hotspots, Coppersmith, for a detox to retox series happening all summer long.  Get your juices flowing (in more ways than one!) with a 60-minute all-levels flow followed by some retoxin’ with mimosas and a sweetgreen voucher.
