The 311 app has proven to be a helpful aid for city residents who encounter an issue or problem like illegally parked cars or trash on the street but yoga in the park?  Honestly, Southie, you’re better than that.  Below is the 311 report that one of our neighbors posted last night.

Really? You’re bitching about yoga in the park?  Yoga in the park is a good thing for our community!  It’s a positive thing.  And FYI – PopUpAsana has a permit with the City of Boston for every Monday through September to use Medal of Honor Park.  It’s legal.

To the person taking the time to make a repot on park yoga we say, maybe you should be practicing yoga not complaining about it.

Namaste.

Honestly this is ridiculous. I’ve done the Yoga in the park and it’s been great! I’m not a huge yogi and not fond of paying $30 for other classes, so this was right up my alley. It’s disgusting that people complain because they’re upset someone else is profiting off of it, and probably nothing else. Good for them. They’re talented instructors and I think it’s great that we can use the park. It’s not loud, or disrupting anyone else from using the park at the same time. I hope that PopUpAsana can come back, one person shouldn’t ruin it for everyone else.
