How are those new year’s resolutions going for you?  Put those “get in shape” resolutions into full gear with a special Bar-re Hop! The Handle Bar (141 Dot. Ave), South Boston’s indoor cycling studio and Simply Barre (118 West Broadway), the latest fitness addition to West Broadway, are joining forces to bring exercise enthusiasts a one-of-a-kind workout experience. Fitness lovers who enjoy the rush of a music-driven cycling class, just as much as a ballet-influenced, thigh-burning barre class, are in luck!

On Sunday, January 25, The Handle Bar and Simply Barre are hosting a workout double header where you can get your cardio fix in a 60-minute cycling class and then work to lengthen and tone your body in a 60-minute barre class. Class participants who sign up for the Bar-re Hop will choose which workout they do first and after the class, they will walk the .02 miles to the next studio for their second workout of the day.

After the 120-minute bar to barre experience, participants will score an exclusive 20% discount off retail merchandise at both The Handle Bar and Simply Barre and also take home a special-edition co-branded tote bag – so you can brag to your friends about the Bar-re Hop, of course!).  Cost is $35 and includes a 60-minute indoor cycling class at The Handle Bar, South Boston, 60-minute barre class at Simply Barre and complimentary tote bag.  All class participants will score 20% off retail at both studios.

The fitness fun begins at 1pm and ends at 3:15pm.  We say keep the fun going and hit Stephi’s in Southie (151 Dorchester Ave.) after for a much deserved cocktail and app!

UPDATE:  Due to popular demand – more classes have been added for 4pm and 5pm.
