in 2013 in Southie

According to numerologist, 2013 is a year of change.  So with that in mind,  we checked in with Sean Regan, South Boston Coordinator to the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Services (and November 2012 Character of the Month https://caughtinsouthie.com/people/characterofmonth/sean-regan) to see what new things we can expect to see in our hometown of Southie:

  • Stephanie’s (at Broadway Station) (https://caughtinsouthie.com/restaurants-bar/food-rumors)
  • Starbucks (at Broadway Station)
  • A Street Transformation/Development including an 11 story building and future home of State Street
  • Foodie’s – https://caughtinsouthie.com/feature/foodies-opened
  • City Hall to Go – https://caughtinsouthie.com/feature/city-hall
  • A new field at M Street Park – (The BFD Softball League will be happy!)
  • Beer and Wine at American Provisions – https://caughtinsouthie.com/feature/raise-your-glass-0
  • Ming Tsai’s Blue Dragon – https://caughtinsouthie.com/restaurants-bar/ring-ding-ming
  • The expansion of Boston Convention and Exhibition Center and new hotels to support it

We  have a hunch that’s just the beginning.  So hold on to your hats, Southie – we are in for another year of change!
