It’s hard to keep track of all the new businesses popping up in the neighborhood so here’s a list of new spots to check out soon!

Asian delight

The Purple Shell is finally open in the old Steph’s in Southie location next to Broadway Station. This new Asian fusion tapas restaurant features an Asian inspired menu with sushi, maki, lo mein noodles, dumplings, tempura and more! They also have a fun cocktail menu loaded with tiki drinks, large format cocktails, beer, and wine!

Prime Beef

Alma Gaucha – a new Brazilian Steakhouse located across from the Lawn on D – is officially open!  If you take a selfie in front of the message at the BCEC showing Alma Gaucha – you’ll get a free dessert through Sunday, March 1st.

Pizza Pizza

Otto Pizza of Portland, Maine has “softly opened” a spot on F Street (bar of 416-418 West Broadway/Caffe Nero building)!  The wildly popular pizza shop that specializes in thin-crust pizza will have a grand opening on Monday, March 2nd.  Make sure to welcome them to the neighborhood! Otto’s has other locations in  Brookline, Harvard Square, Arlington, Lynnfield, and Newburyport, along with a few in Maine.  Otto’s was also named one of the “Best Pizzas in America” by the Food Network!

Self-care

Southie Nail Bar – a new nail salon on West Broadway is ready to open any day now. This large and chic space is a welcomed edition to this part of the neighborhood with most nail shops clustered up on East Broadway.

Mystery Business

Update on the shop with “deVine” sign hanging on the front. Looks like it’s going to be some sort of beauty/skincare studio judging by its website.  You can check it out here! Thanks you to Gina for sharing this intel.

So there you go!  Go explore and try something new and let us know how it goes!
