Anyone who knew Stephanie “Lovey” Uftring knew how she could light up up a room with her personality. She was outgoing, kind, and loads of fun. Back in 2014, Stephanie lost her battle with colon cancer and it was a dark day in South Boston to lose such a bright light.   

A special walk will take place on Saturday, June 8th at 9am.  Walk begins at South Boston Yacht Club out to Castle Island and back.  Long sleeve “Lovey” T-shirts be be on sale for $20 at South Boston Yacht Club before and after the walk.  All proceeds will go to the Stephanie Uftring Memorial Scholarship Fund.
