I really hope that people will pick up their poop bags and throw them in a barrel and not leave them on the side walk . if I had an extra bag with me today , just going Mercer Street to H and 5th I could have filled it up with poopy bags on the side walk .

I would like to see a cultural center in South Boston. The closed bank on West Broadway would be a good place for this endeavor. We would need the whole community to make this happen.
I’d respectfully ask that people who pick up after their dogs take the bags to THEIR OWN barrels. If I wanted my barrel to smell like dog poop, I’d get a dog. And for God’s sake, don’t throw it in other people’s compost bins. It is not allowed, nor are the plastic bags. Thank you.
