The Ollie’s Angela May Kane Academic Achievement Recipients
A generous donor has partnered with South Boston Neighborhood House, “The Ollie,” to establish an annual academic achievement award to honor the memory of Angela May Kane, a longtime resident of South Boston.
The award recognizes outstanding academic performance by one 4th grade student from each of the six local elementary schools. Students with the highest class GPA were selected by their teachers, and at the end of the school year, each student was presented with a certificate and $250.00 award for their achievements.
Award recipients were Tatum Baker, The Oliver H. Perry School; Joshua Clancy, Joseph P. Tynan Elementary School; Ashley Jandres, James F. Condon School; Owen Missett, South Boston Catholic Academy; Qirat Siddiqi, St. Peter Academy; and Jordan Thomas, Michael J. Perkins School.
Congratulations to all the winners and special thanks to their families, teachers, and administrators for their encouragement and support.
