It hasn’t always been easy for people to come together to support, laugh, share, and interact with each other. Not lately, at least. Communities used to rely on each other, but then the status quo shifted away from that valuable interdependence, and the connection we felt to our neighborhood faded. Until now.
Created by people in our own South Boston community, Cobbles is a platform that uses videos and pictures to capture all aspects of Southie life and leverages the power of digital media to drive positive, authentic connections.
Every community has its own flavor and is strengthened by the people who call it home. Like the family down the street that just moved in, the neighbor next door who you run into at the coffee shop every Tuesday morning, or the small restaurant around the corner that makes the best pizza in town. Cobbles wants to redefine our community experience to help people go beyond their screens, connect with the people around them and rediscover what it means to be part of a real neighborhood again.
We’re excited to see how South Boston shares perspectives to make Cobbles part of their daily life. Looking forward to seeing you out there!
