at SB Neighborhood House
The South Boston Neighborhood House is proud to announce another year of their Summer Leadership Intern Program (SLIP) for youths ages 11 to 14 years. The program design will include 2/3 days of leadership development -including workshops, trainings and field trips and two days a week of an internship experience at a local business. There are only 12 spots available so please make sure you can make the commitment before applying, the program will run from July 1, 2013 to August 23, 2013. Participants will receive a stipend upon completing the program.
The process to apply will include filling out an application, with a short essay, and scheduling an interview. Applications are now available at the Neighborhood House and must be returned by Friday, April 19, 2013. Once they are returned an interview will be scheduled with each candidate and selections will be made by early June. All applicants will be notified at that time.
