Southie Shoutout to Tommy Flaherty

Let’s here it for Tommy Flaherty who stole the show during a Red Sox game last Sunday. After winning a Red Sox Kid Nation contest, Tommy got to go to the Red Sox/Yankees game  at Fenway and broadcast the Red Sox line-up live on NESN and knocked it out of the park! Tommy is the son of Ann Marie and Tommy Flaherty and a 7th grader at BC High.

We sat down recently with Tommy and had a little Q&A:

Were you nervous?
I was nervous the night before, but the day of it was more exciting.  

Best part of that day?
Getting Sandy Leon to sign my baseball.

Favorite Red Sox player?
Mookie Betts

Fenway Frank or Soft Pretzel?
Fenway Frank!

Are the Red Sox gonna go all the way this season?
Yes!

What do you want to be when you grow up?
A Sports Analyst
