Southie Shoutout: Brendan O’Brien
A star is born! Let’s hear it for Brendan O’Brien – a Southie resident and third grader making his debut on the historic Shubert Theatre stage on June 22nd when Fiddlehead Theatre Company presents Show Boat! Brendan fell in love with theater after seeing his first show at almost four years old. He has performed with Boston Children’s Theatre (BCT) in the World Premiere of Caps for Sale (Monkey), Assassins (Billy), Stuart Little (Zeke and others) and Pippin (Theo). He also appeared in SpeakEasy Stage Company’s appropriate (Ainsley), 2016 IRNE nomination, Best Play. In his free time he enjoys dancing and performing at Fourth Presbyterian Church children’s theater program and singing with BCT’s Junior Show Choir.
Show Boat will run for twelve performances from June 22-July 3, 2016. Way to go Brendan!
