A big Southie Shout-out to Southie’s own Joe Weydt who will be performing with the Boston Pops on Tuesday, June 2nd at Symphony Hall!  Joseph is graduating from Boston Latin School later this month and recently won the Fidelity Investments Young Artist Award.  In addition to singing and playing guitar, Joe also plays, drums, piano and bass.  He will be attending UMass Lowell in the fall.

You may have seen Joe perform live at the South Boston Street Festival.  He appeared with his band The Weydt and this past year performed with his newest band, Happy Cactus.   Be on the lookout for Happy Cactus’ first album being released next month.

Way to go, Joseph!  Break a leg at Symphony Hall!
