The Southie Bantam A’s defeated the Parkway Bantam A’s in the Bantam Tier II Large District 1 Final 5-2. They will compete for the Bantam Tier II Large state championship in March in Falmouth, MA. Congrats!

Calling all kids ages 4-10 – Learn to Skate begins this Sunday. The South Boston Youth Hockey League is offering two, 8 week sessions. The first begins Sunday, November 3, at 4 pm – 4:50 pm. The cost is $125. Children must wear a helmet with face cage/mask & warm gloves & clothing. No parents are allowed on the ice this year as the instruction is handled by USA hockey certified coaches. South Boston Youth Hockey is celebrating the season with a special South Boston reunion and fundraiser on Saturday, November 30th at The Teacher’s Union Hall at 7pm. There will be live music featuring Southie’s favorite band, Thomas Park, a tribute to local hockey legend Teddy Cunniff, raffles and a cash bar.
