The first-ever Southie Film Festival is set to hit the neighborhood on Saturday, March 7th, 2026, and it’s shaping up to be a fun day celebrating local talent.
Hosted at Seapoint Bar & Grille (367 E 8th Street), this chill, in-person festival will showcase independent films from Boston-area filmmakers from 3PM to 10PM. Think curated film blocks throughout the afternoon and evening, with cocktail hours in between so guests can grab a drink, chat bout the films, and mix and mingle with the creatives behind them.
An 🎟 All-Day Pass is just $20 and gives film lovers full access to the entire lineup. Pop in for one block, stay for the whole day, or hang at the bar during cocktail hour — it’s totally up to you.
As a first-year fest, organizers are promising big energy, a packed house, raffles, and plenty of great films.
