South Boston Family Dental Adds Practitioners & Services

Dr. Ben Liu opened South Boston Family Dental in South Boston in 2001. The office offers a full range of dental services (hygiene, crowns, root canals, bridges, etc) as well as Invisalign, teeth whitening, and the very popular technique of digital impressions, where a dentist can get a full mouth impression bypassing the need for the gooey playdough-like clay and uncomfortable plastic trays.

Dr. Anya Pukhovitskaya, a General Dentist, has just become a full partner in Dr. Liu’s practice.  Dr. Anya practices all phases of general dentistry including Invisalign treatment.

 

 

 

 

Additionally, a board certified pediatric dentist has joined the practice, Dr. Azar.  The biggest question she is asked is “When should my child have their first dental visit?”  The American Dental Association and the Academy of Pediatric Dentistry both recommend that a child be seen within the first six months of their first tooth and no later than their first birthday.  Dr. Azar treats children as young as one to fourteen years old.  She is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Dr. Meg Hostage and Dr. Ann-marie O’Connor are accepting new patients. Hostage is currently pursuing her post-doc degree in orthodontics at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and O’Connor is a Harvard trained periodontist specializing in gum treatments and implants.

Endodontist Dr. Kiebish specializes in root canals, and his meticulous attention to detail will leave you pleased that you preserved that aching tooth as opposed to having it extracted.
