If you like to go out with friends, meet new people and help out a good cause, then Social Southie is for you! This newly created group aims to provide a social atmosphere where people can meet once a month, donate to a worthy cause and make our community a little stronger.
The idea behind Social Southie was created by a small group of locals and new residents who wanted to change the dynamic of the Southie social scene. “We’re just asking people to come out and have a good time with us, donate maybe $5 or $10 to a local cause that maybe they didn’t know about before, and enjoy some food and drinks with other people who live in Southie. It’s all about giving back to the community that we all call home,” says Elise Ryan, one of the co-founders of the Social Southie movement.
