This December marks the 25th annual Laboure Christmas House Tour of South Boston. Hosted by Catholic Charities, this important fundraiser features homes in South Boston decorated for Christmas by local designers. This beloved tradition has become for many visitors and Boston residents the start of the Holiday Season. Five homes are selected and decorated by a team of Boston professional design firms and opened to the public by the generous homeowners to raise money for the social services provided by Catholic Charities Laboure Center.

Each home is unique and indicative of the South Boston area that has become home to many new residents while maintaining its strong family values and sense of community. The tour homes displayed incorporate new designs within the structure of residences that range from brownstones to condominiums.

The tour dates are Saturday,Twilight Tour December 5th  from 4-6pm with a cocktail reception at the Boston Design center immediately following the tour. The Sunday daytime tour is Sunday, December  6th from noon to 4:00 p.m. The tour may be self guided or the tourgoers may use the transportation provided for each tour.  Twilight Tour (Tickets are $125. Participation is limited, so purchase tickets early.) The tour begins at the Design Center where transportation is provided to the various homes or the tour may be self guided. Immediately after the tour a cocktail reception will be held at the Design Center. 

Daylight Tour (Tickets are $25 purchased in advance; $30 purchased day of Tour.)  The tour will start from Laboure Center at 275 West Broadway or from Castle Island where parking is available. Trolleys will transport guests to area of homes or the tour may be self directed.
