Pumpkin Shaming Happy Ending
If you follow Caught in Southie on Facebook, you saw the Nest video of a 20-something Halloween reveler stealing a decorated pumpkin from a stoop on East Fourth Street. Well, the pumpkin’s artist/owner was a little boy Quentin who was less than pleased with the “theft.” Well, great news! Quentin’s mom Kim emailed CIS to say that the pumpkin was returned with a note of apology and some candy!
“He was really thrilled this morning and I am happy that he has experienced this kind gesture,” said Kim!
We are thrilled too and happy that the young woman did the right thing. As my Nana would say, “She was raised right.”
