LAX players with hearts of gold

The Pink Whales Foundation (“PWF”) was founded in 2012 by local young professionals have a love for the sport of lacrosse, as well as giving back to their community.  With the sentiment of “paying it forward”, PWF is composed of lacrosse players of different levels – Club, Division 1 and Professional – whose mission is to engage other young professionals to be involved in their community through organized events and raising funds for local charities. How great is that?

Pink Whales has two fun events coming up for you to get involved in and the funds raised will go directly to Kreg Palko who has been recently diagnosed with ALS.

From PWF website: “Kreg grew up as an athlete, playing football for Air Force, he was an extremely active adult, always exploring and surfing any chance he had with his surfing club buddies. It’s so difficult to imagine being deprived of these activities, let alone the loss of your extremities.”

You can support Kreg and his family at the following events:

2013 PWF Golf Classic – October 27th @ Indian Pond Country Club  This is a 2 man team 18 Hole Shotgun tournament. To sign up or for more information visit: http://pinkwhalesfoundation.bigcartel.com/product/pwf-fall-classic
