at The Handle Bar

The Handle Bar (141 Dorchester Avenue) is turning pink and honoring National Breast Cancer Awareness Month with four “Pedal in Pink” indoor cycling classes this October. 50% of proceeds from the Wednesday class at 7:00pm, October 2 through October 23, will benefit the Ellie Fund, a Massachusetts-based non-profit organization that fights breast cancer by easing its effects on patients and families through providing critical support services including childcare, groceries, transportation to treatment and housekeeping.

Riders, who are encouraged to wear their favorite pink workout gear to the “Pedal in Pink” classes, will enter a dim, pink lit studio and break a sweat to a soundtrack of top tracks. Following the 60-minute class, riders will be treated to samples of pink Vitamin Water to replenish and refresh them from the high-intensity workout.

The Handle Bar will also be stocking their retail shelves with special-edition pink branded tanks and long sleeve tops. During the month of October, 20% of proceeds from the purchase of pink apparel from The Handle Bar will be donated to the Ellie Fund.

  • $20.00 for a single class
  • $25.00 for a special-edition pink Handle Bar tank top
  • $35.00 for a special-edition pink Handle Bar long sleeve top

This special class will take place at 7:00pm on October 2, October 9, October 16 and October 23rd

Reservations are recommended and can be made on www.handlebarcycling.com
