Meet the South Boston Neighborhood House’s Parent Partners:

Zuwena Ham, Laura Purcell, Esther Medina and Taisha Rodriguez – at their Brain Building Event in Moakley Park last month. Together, they have initiated a series of Learning the Library events taking place this month and are planning a Baby Stroller Scavenger Hunt for later this month. They are working to connect families to the many resources and services available in South Boston. We hope that you will have a chance to meet them, if you haven’t already.

South Boston Neighborhood House is working along side Thrive in 5 and Boston Community Partnership for Children working to support families in the their role as their child’s first teacher by ensuring that all families with young children, especially those with the greatest need and in hard to reach populations – are engaged in their child’s healthy development through access to family support services, child development knowledge and school readiness resources that are essential to their success.  SBNH is one of nine neighborhoods throughout the City who are working with volunteer parent partners on this effort…connecting to other parents and sharing their excitement around this project.

We are so happy to have them as part our the Ollie Team.
