South Boston Farmers Market

Celebrate National Food Day and the end of an amazing season at the South Boston Farmers Market!  The South Boston Neighborhood Development Corporation (SBNDC), sponsor of the South Boston Farmers Market, are holding a special celebration on Monday, October 26th.

The market will run as usual from 12 – 6 pm, with regular vendors Freitas Farm, Wenger’s Farm, and Red’s Best Seafood. Throughout the day, customers will be able to decorate pumpkins to take home, play a food trivia game, and contribute to a fresh food drive that will benefit a local food pantry.

In addition, the New England Aquarium will be in attendance with their Traveling Tide Pool from 12 pm – 3 pm, and there will live music from KC Harris from the Berklee School of Music, from 3 pm – 5 pm, and a performance from the Boys and Girls Club band from 5:15 pm – 6 pm!

Food Day is all about inspiring individuals to eat greener, healthier diets, while working toward improving food policies to ensure better food for everyone. Greener and healthier means eating more fruits and veggies!

Stop by and celebrate!
