Thursday, October 3rd

Please join Bob Ferrara of South Boston Pop Warner and Stefanie Valovic of Planet Southie for a Renew Boston “Weatherize Southie This Fall” workshop. Bob will speak briefly about his own positive experience getting a no-cost Home Energy Assessment through Renew Boston, Mayor Menino’s initiative to help Boston residents save money on their energy bills and make their homes more comfortable.

You’ll also hear why Planet Southie supports saving energy, plus you can meet and ask questions of Mike Zhe, an energy efficiency specialist with Next Step Living.

Next Step Living has kindly offered to make a $10 contribution to SBPW for every attendee who’s household receives a no-cost Home Energy Assessment!

This event begins at 6pm at the South Boston Public Library (646 East Broadway).

If you can’t make the workshop, you can also support South Boston Pop Warner by requesting a Home Energy Assessment or Solar Assessment at http://www.renewboston.org/sbpw/.

It’s a great thing to do for the environment and your community! Refreshments will be served.
