After a very brief retirement, we are happy to report that beloved Southie barber – Ottavio Lograsso – has opened in a new location!

Ottavio’s Barber Shop is now located 377 First Street, across from the Yankee Bus Terminal. Ottavio’s family immigrated from Sicily to Southie in 1962 when he was 9. After a stint in the Army during the Vietnam War, Ottavio attended Boston Barber College and obtained his license. Ottavio’s Barber Shop was on West Broadway in Perkins Square for over 40 years until his lease expired on June 30. Whether you’re an “old school” Southie guy looking for a trim and a few laughs, new to Southie and looking for a top-quality haircut at a reasonable price, or a fan of Italian (or English) Premier League soccer, Ottavio is open and ready for you in his sparkling new digs. There is ample street parking nearby.
