Light it Up: Glowing Bridges are lighting up the Emerald Necklace

Go for a walk
In an effort to help Boston residents enjoy parks in the winter, Lights in the Necklace has officially launched through March 13th courtesy of the Emerald Necklace Conservancy. Selected bridges throughout the Emerald Necklace will be lit green via battery-powered LEDSs. You can check them out from dusk until 9pm daily.
A little bit of history of the Emerald Necklace
The Emerald Necklace is Boston’s largest park system created by architect Frederick Law Olmsted almost 150 years ago. Six separate parks stretch across 1,100 acres and are home to more than 30 bridges. You can learn more about this here!
