It’s Time to Deck Those Stoops! It’s the Second Annual Caught in Southie Holiday Stoop Stroll to benefit the Ollie – Be a part of it!

Haul out the holly and hang those twinkle lights — because Caught in Southie is proud to announce the second annual Caught in Southie Holiday Stoop Decorating Competition, all to benefit the South Boston Neighborhood House (The Ollie)!

📅 Saturday, December 13th | 4–6PM

This isn’t just about lights and wreaths (though we love those too), it’s about community, connection, and giving back to the place we all call home.

The Ollie has been supporting Southie families for 125 years, making it the oldest continuously operated community-based nonprofit in the neighborhood. Their mission? “To support family and neighborhood life in South Boston.” From youth programs and senior services to family resources and events, The Ollie is the heart of our community — and this competition helps keep that going!

So how does it work?

If you’re feeling festive (and have access to your stoop), sign up and start dreaming up your holiday masterpiece! Participants will decorate their stoops for all to enjoy, and we’ll put together a special map for residents to stroll through the neighborhood, sip some cocoa, and soak in the holiday cheer.

🎅 How to Participate:
Email [email protected] to sign up!

On the big night, homeowners can offer up a little something for visitors — Christmas cookies, hot chocolate, maybe a few carols playing from a speaker. It’s about sharing the joy and spreading holiday cheer!

After the stroll, join us for a holiday mixer where you can cast your vote and socialize with friends and neighbors. Location TBD — stay tuned!

✨ Whether you’re competing, strolling, or just cheering on your neighbors, this event is a reminder of what the holidays — and Southie — are all about: community and giving back!
