Hot Diggity Dog!

It’s the unofficial food of summer so celebrate it!  Whether you like it with mustard or ketchup, today is your perfect excuse to eat one!  It’s National Hotdog Day and we are sharing our picks for the best hot dogs in Southie:

Sully’s at Castle Island – legendary for over 60 years.  People wait in lines for one of these “snap dogs” and for just $1.90 you might as well get two.

Tasty Burger (69 L Street)  – one of Southie’s newest eateries, Tasty Burger not only offers delicious burgers and fries, but they also offer all beef “shanks”.  Get a 1/4 lb. dog on a toasted bun for $3.95 or live a little with chili and cheese for $5.25.

Rondo’s (134 West Broadway) – We know they are known for they subs – they are rumored to cure a hangover – but Rondo’s also has foot long hot dog that is grilled to perfection for $2.75.
