The combination of Friday the 13th plus a full strawberry moon means things might be a little crazier in Southie tonight.   This combo hasn’t happened in over a decade and won’t happen again until August, 13th 2049.

The full moon is called a “strawberry” moon because it’s strawberry season and is also referred to as the “honey” moon because of it’s golden color.  So if you’re up and out at 12:11am,  look up in the sky and catch a glimpse.   And as always on Friday the 13th, don’t walk under a ladder or let a black cat cross your path, that’s just common sense.

So consider yourself warned, Southie – people might be cuckoo-bananas tonight – well, more than normal.
