Honestly,  who hits and runs? Jetta – hit and run

A Southie resident recently had her car damaged significantly to the driver’s side door.  Her car was parked on East Eighth Street near G Street, near the outbound #11 bus stop.  The car is a black Jetta and was parked from Tuesday morning until Thursday afternoon.   The person who hit the car did not leave a note.

She needs your help, Southie!  If anyone witnessed anything that could help with information to find the driver who hit and run, kindly reach out to Lisa at [email protected]

Thank you!

Is this for real? How many cars are vandalized constantly in Southie because someone parks in someone else’s “spot”, and half the time there’s nothing even being used as a space saver.

I once came out from visiting some friends in Cambridge, and I came out and found the left outside mirror dangling from my car–the glass broken, and the wires exposed, and everything.  What was really disgusting is the fact that nobody left a note or anything.

I also recall coming out of school one day many years ago (I was commuting from a suburb into the city for school at that time), and finding that somebody had crumpled my left front fender, without leaving a note or anything.

Unfortunately, people don’t seem to leave notes like they’re supposed to any more.   As disgusting as it is, I can understand why people do that–they don’t want to admit that they caused damage to someone else’s car, because they don’t want their auto insurance rates to go up.
