OK it might not be the hills of Austria, but our highest point in Southie sure is a great spot to gather and admire the commanding views of our great city.

And now, thanks to the Dorchester Heights Neighborhood Association, in partnership with the National Parks Service, a new concert series is planned for this summer!

For three Saturdays starting June 10, the Heights will host live music, food trucks and kid friendly activities (see times below).

All food trucks will be parked at street level and the good folks at Kaleidoscope Designs, Jenny the Juggler and Knucklebones will provide entertainment to keep the kiddos occupied.

The Dorchester Heights Association Board offers its greatest appreciation to the following sponsors whose generosity and support this unique concert series would not be at all possible!!

Platinum Sponsor – Boston National Parks Service
Bronze Sponsor – South Boston Historical Society

In the event of rain, events will be cancelled. Notifications of cancellations will be communicated the day of each event via the Dorchester Heights email distribution list and Southie Community Face Book page.

Remember – all dogs MUST be leashed and picked up after and no alcoholic beverages will be permitted.

Dates: 6/10: 6-8 pm with “Lite Rock” from the Berklee College of Music

7/15 features “Bluegrass” by the Fort Point Ramblers from 3-5 pm and

8/19 “Salsa” is jamming the park by Berklee College of Music from 7-9 pm.
