Spooky Season in Southie is here!! Here is a roundup of all the Halloween Happenings in the neighborhood!  This list will be updated, so check back! 

Pumpkin Carving at Lincoln

Join Lincoln for an evening of Halloween fun on October 27th and 28th. The tickets are $35 and include a pumpkin, carving tools, pizza, drink, and a custom cup.  It is the perfect way to let your inner artist out and celebrate Spooky Season! Get your tickets here!

Halloween Events at Local 149

Local 149 has multiple events to celebrate Halloween. They will have Pumpkin Painting on the patio on Wednesday, October 15th. They will also have Tarot Reading on Wednesday, October 29th from 6 to 8pm. They will end the month with a spooktacular Halloween party on Friday, October 31st at 9pm. Play It By Fear

The Seaport and Castle Island Brewing are teaming up to host an awesome Halloween concert on Friday, October 17th from 6:30 to 8:30pm. There will be vendors, food, and even tarot card readings! The Glass Artists,string quartet, will cover Halloween classics and slasher themes. Don’t miss out on this night of fun! Get all the details here!

Seaport Smalls Spooky Fun

Halloween is for the kids! The Seaport is offering a perfect day of Halloween Fun on Saturday, October 25th from 10am to 1pm. Little Groove will be performing. There will also be cotton candy, mini pancakes, face painting, balloon artists, and more. There will also be trick or treating at 30 businesses in the Seaport! Boo(ish) Family Halloween Event at PKL

On Saturday, October 25, PKL will host its 3rd annual Boo(ish) Family Halloween Event, transforming the pickleball courts into a festive playground for families to enjoy a day of fun, food, and community

TIME: 11 AM – 3 PM
LOCATION: PKL – 64 C Street, South Boston

This year’s lineup includes (additional costs may apply):

  • Pumpkin decorating beginning at 11 AM (while supplies last)

  • Pinatas for kids (separate sessions for ages 6 & under and ages 6–11)

  • Costume contest with prizes for winners

  • Live music from 12–3 PM

  • Family pickleball court play from 11–3 PM

The Nautilus 1970s Summer Camp

The Nautilus Pier 4 is getting in the Halloween 1970s Horror Summer Camp vibe on Friday, October 31st featuring @djryanbrown@drinksurfside giveaways, and prizes all night long! The party kicks off at 9PM and goes until the ghosts go home!

Castle Island Brewing Halloween Party

Celebrate Halloween at Castle Island Brewing on Friday, October 31st from 7pm-10pm featuring music by DJ Sprino, limited batch spicy IPA, Jello shots, gummy body part, costume contest for dogs and humans!

Hunter’s

Hunter’s is celebrating Halloween with a new batch of spooky cocktails to try!  Plus live music started at 9pm!

Witches and Zombies Halloween Party Cruise

Loco is celebrating all week long

Kids Halloween Movie Night at Loco

Stop by Loco Lounge on Monday, October 27th for a fun movie night for the whole family! They will be showing Zombies 4 at 5pm. There will also be trick-or-treat bag decorating and a full buffet for kids! RSVP here!

Sugar Skulls Paint Night at Loco

Celebrate the Day of the Dead at Loco with Sugar Skull Painting! Happening on Tuesday, October 28th from 7:30 to 9:30pm. Park City Pumpkinfest

Park City is transforming into the perfect fall oasis for Halloween! It is the day that will be filled with family fun! The event is happening on Sunday, October 26th from 1 to 4pm. There will be pumpkin painting, costume contest, face painting, and more! The event is free but RSVP here!

Trick or Treating on Broadway

Beware of little ghosts and goblins (and their parents) roaming the streets in search of Halloween candy. East and West Broadway will be filled with trick-or-treaters, picking up candy from local businesses and residences on Friday, October 31st, from 4 pm to 6 pm. 

Participating establishments will be clearly marked with orange and black posters inviting the children to stop by for a treat.

For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, we are asking that Trick-or-Treaters walk in the same direction. If you are starting on West Broadway going toward East Broadway, walk on the odd-numbered (southern) side of the street. If you are starting on East Broadway heading to West Broadway, walk on the even-numbered (northern) side of the street.

Castle Island Magical Celebration

In Southie, we are lucky enough to have our own “castle” and it is the perfect setting for a Halloween Celebration! The Castle Island Magical celebration will be held on Saturday, October 25th and Sunday, October 26th from 12pm to 4pm. It is free and fun for all! Costumes are encouraged! Stop by Sully’s after for a hot dog!
